I notice a big difference in the quality reading between a viewsat ultra and a captiveworks 800. The viewsat reads 36% on 12177 and the captive works reads 56%.

I notice a big difference in the quality reading between a viewsat ultra and a captiveworks 800. The viewsat reads 36% on 12177 and the captive works reads 56%.

Unlike receivers display the % of quality differently, that is, you are still receiving the same amount of signal on each receiver, they just display a different percentage for the same signal strength.

Different firmware versions can cause even identical receivers to show different readings on the same signal, probably other variables that can cause this also.
