Anyone noticed that getting Blockbuster disks at home has suddenly slowed to a crawl?

I forgot to add to my previous post, that the warehouse did receive my disc on Monday, sent me out another on Tuesday and I received it yesterday. I watched it last night and I'll be turning it in today. Hopefully it will trigger a transaction email.

I really don't care about the emails, as long as the turnaround is still good. It's just strange that I received regular emails for weeks, now lately, nothing...

I usually get the email about a new disc being mailed before I get the email that the old disc was returned. It's a sign of a poorly designed and/or implemented notification system.

But, the bottom line is that the service has slowed. The total turnaround averages about 2 days longer for me now than it was in the beginning - one more day in each direction.

I had posted earlier about being on the one disk play and having a disk from the physical store and one deliverd in the mail. I dropped of the disk to the block buster store yesterday and exchanged my mail disk and received a new DVD will be intresting to see how my next disk get mailed. I also plan to drop off the movie I picked up from blockbuster today

It's pretty normal for me anyway. There have been a couple times where I sent them back Monday and got them Friday, but even that isn't a big deal since watching movies is more of a time filler than anything around here.

Yeah. I view the disc-by-mail as a nice perk to the Platinum HD Pack.

I do think that if they want to make BB@H a truly valuable package, they should tie the BB@H streaming to the disc library or a specific BB-licensed streaming library a la Netflix, instead of the current system of just taking the crap that's already available as free VOD, and labeling it "BB@H".

That would be a nice future step in regard to steaming

My movies show up as none in queue the day that I turn in the disc to my local BB. They usually mail me the next disc the next day. I usually get a two day mailing time.

I wonder if there is a reboot of some sort for the still open Blockbuster stores, notices banners and such outside of the store near us

Ours just got a Hopper and 3 Joeys, with flat panel displays around the store.

Hate to brag, but I'm still getting excellent turnaround time. I returned a movie in the mail Saturday AM and just received the next one in my queue today. It literally couldn't get any better than that!!!

Us too. Turnaround time is usually 4-6 days. :) The service has been excellent since we got it.

Sent from my DROIDX using SatelliteGuys

Not so much slower, a bit strange no emails letting me know disks have been mailed out and ques not clearing as of late

Maybe the issues they have been having of late have been cleared up. Returned a in store DVD and que was updated :)
