While it looks it has the AZ Box logo, I do not believe that the box is an actual AZbox.

Yup its the AZ Fox lol.

Hopefully I will have one by Friday to post pics videos etc...

You think they would have learned after the DMS lawsuit a few years ago.

Believe me, I am not saying anything bad about the receiver itself, the specs make it look like a fine receiver. I am only talking about the name of it, which is where I have an issue.

No disrespect to any site members who are associated w/ WSI here but I wouldnt touch any of their products with a 30 foot pole.

Cheers, K

LOL not even a 10 foot pole went right for the 30 footer.

Did you get some bad WSI products?

so after you get it are you going to be Dr Seuss and say
The az fox rocks my socks or
the az fox is like a box of rocks

:D

@ Wally--> Got burned once yes. Apparently they admited their 69$ prime dish was sub-standard/defective which was something they neglected to tell me when I initially bought one.

Cheers, K

Yup they are POS's. Thats why they were dumping them so cheap.

Yeah they were crappy dishes, but I still feel it was worth it for $69. The way I saw it if someone got one and tried it they would either love C Band or hate it. Hopefully those who love C Band went out and purchased a better dish now. :)

ANOTHER Ali box? Wow. Is anyone keeping track of how many of these things there are now? Why doesn't Ali just sell evaluation boards and SDKs to the general public and cut out the middlemen?

Because they would not have a closed source distro anymore.

I agree I would love to have the pinouts of the Ali chips and the sample design. You could add ports to the hardware you own if the product is lacking what you need.

Is the software/firmware significantly more stable than the AzBox? The Azbox is nice but the channel data is too easily corrupted.

Not even related to AzBox.

Az Fox is a IKS box from the South American market that was produced to play off the popularity of the AzBox name in the theft of services game.
