Three classic TV shows are returning to the small screen next month: "Gilligan's Island," "The Love Boat," and "Wanted: Dead or Alive," starring Steve McQueen.

All of the shows will be returning on Me-TV, the Memorable Entertainment Television digital network from Weigel Broadcasting that's primarily distributed on TV stations' subchannels.

Me-TV made the announcement of its fall schedule--which starts Monday, Sept. 2, 2013--during its airing of "Night Gallery" last night, Thursday, Aug. 8, 2013. It also posted the announcement on its Facebook page.

This is from Me-TV's official press announcemnt:

Furthermore, the annoucement has this statement from Neal Sabin, president of content and networks for Weigel:

“This fall’s Me-TV schedule has more than 60 different classic TV programs every week. No other network has as much variety or as many of the most beloved series of all time. ‘Gilligan’s Island’ and ‘The Love Boat’ are two of the most requested series from Me-TV viewers of all ages. We are happy they will both be part of our schedule this fall.”

I saw the same announcement last night at the beginning of night gallery! Me Tv continues to be my favorite retro channel at the moment. Im hoping that the sat night current lineup stays put for now.

Good to see Gilligans Island back!

Now we need a block of Gilligans Island followed by the Brady Bunch and it will be like watching TV as a kid again. :D

I only hope ME continues to be FTA until, at least, I'm dead. Sayonara This.
I also hope Lukken can dig out of the mess their in and grow their lineup.
I also hope AJE doesn't, poof, disappear. But I'm not going to hold my breath.

What is the smallest size dish to use for this particular feed? I've been debating if it's time to ditch the 1.2M dish the the C-band LNB and get a 6' or 8' dish. I tried to pick it up with the little dish and didn't get even a bit of quality on the first strike meter. A few degrees over on 99w on the stronger transponders I can nudge it up to about a 10db signal.

I think some of the folks can pick up MeTV with a 6 footer, but...I say put up the biggest and best dish you can get away with, and make it a FREE (no $) one. ;)

It really is that simple. :)

I'm so happy to see Gilligan's Island! It's been a very long time since I've seen it! :D

Alfred Hitchcock and Untouchables will be great to see, glad to have Twilight Zone back, I can NEVER tire of it and I've seen every episode hundreds of times over the years.
I'm tired of Mission Impossible, glad to see Thriller on a nightly basis.

I wish they would get rid of Voyage to the bottom of the sea, that's just waaaay too stupid.. Car 54 needs to go too, I hate that show.
I like Batman, Lost in Space and Star Trek and Svenghoolie. I'm glad they left those in place. Get Smart is cool too.

Sundays have a lot of good stuff going too pretty much all day.

I can't say I'm too thrilled about the E/I stuff but I guess it's a law they have to air that so there's no point in complaining, it's here to stay.

I'm going to miss I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched.. :/

They have soooo much good stuff going on! I :heart MeTV !!

Did you know the actress that played "Wrangler Jane" on F-Troop was only 16 years old in real life during the time she was on that show?

I didn't know that about Wrangler Jane primestar31. That would make a really good TV trivia question. I really enjoy seeing that show again. It's hilarious!
