andy_horton Glad that you have something that you are happy with and will keep the antennas for the hobby factor. Don't be insulted by some ridiculous suggestions. Enjoy the hobby and the entertainment!

Troch77 Certainly wasn't suggesting that anyone move to enable reception. Merely suggesting that it is very common to shop for properties that support ones lifestyle and hobbies. In life, there are rarely absolutes.... Thank goodness that we don't all have the same priorities and interests!

And with Netflix, I've got plenty to choose from.

But telling someone to move, isn't constructive at all.
Not constructive would be to give false hope and generic answers that don't meet the stated qualifications.

If you don't think the TS's case for OTA is more or less hopeless, offer a practical alternative that doesn't violate the criteria. If you can't come up with anything, you probably shouldn't lash out at others for plainly saying so.

The situation was pretty thoroughly discussed and a consensus arrived at in the previous thread. It is folly to suggest that a happier answer is somehow going to result from a different thread with the same intractable parameters.

I think this thread has ran its course and the OP has moved on to Comcast.
