2016 NCAA football discussion thread

I guess Michigan won't be bellyaching about being left out of the playoffs now. Thank you FreeShoesUniversity. :D

So GT will win and LV will lose today thats 7-3
Jackson got burned...IMO they are doing Heisman voting way too early and should wait till after Title game.
Jackson wasn't the best player this year.

Came up against another good defensive scheme. I really like LSU's DC, Dave Aranda. At least that was one good decision made by the powers that be.

Offense outside of RB played tepidly. Hurts looks like a freshman, but still...RTR.

I guess they got what they wanted. ;)

Good game Huskies.

I'm just curious, why is it Bama always gets a game close to home ?

Have they played a Bowl game outside of 3-4 hours away ?

They should go farther away so they can see some more of the country ...
Probably never been to Texas or California, do they even know that those states are out there ?

I'm just asking.

They were ranked higher and the locations and where seeds would play were set before the season started. Had they been ranked in the middle two, they would be in Arizona.

So I guess the answer is, they won more than the ones below them? ;)

Dude, they started the season in Texas and won the natty in the rose bowl just a few years ago.

Sometimes I wonder if people watch football outside of their own teams. Lol

Washington played ok but not as good as they have. I was disappointed as with some friends that we didn't see the trick plays that would have made it more interesting.
I'm glad to see different teams get into the playoff either way - we need some variety and I know ESPN wants it since their ratings are down.

I'm sure Peterson wasn't confident that trickery would be effective against the bama d, otherwise it would have been in there.

It would have been better than what they did which was run the ball up the middle..may as well have run the ball against a brick wall.

Darn bowl games in the warm South West.

Ohio state doesn't play well in enclosed climate control non cold locations.

I'm talking Bowl games, not the regular season.
They rarely go out of thier area during the year as it is. a few times yes, but very rarely.
