Fox Blocks Millions of DISH Customers

Same situation for me. As far as I can tell you get NFL Redzone and MLB Strikezone. I think I already have the rest of the channels in the multi-sport pack.
At this point, I need to agree. Regarding RSNs, they seem to be the last thing that Dish cares to carry. That's more exasperated when you add price increases. In New England, we lost NBC Sports Boston back when it was CSN New England. And I question when NESN might go. I already have my contingency plans, neither of which are to leave Dish. Quite honestly, I pay for my provider to suit my needs. So if the network wants to have a peeing contest, I'll find my ways. I'm resourceful enough.

Specifically, between my daughters' sports and fitting in the gym for myself, I find myself more and more listening to the games on FM. Most people can add the NextRadio app to their phone. The wired headphones that you use become an antenna, and there you go. It's free, and it doesn't use up your data (if its limited). For phones with the bullcrap removal of the headphone jack (iPhone), I don't know how that works for them. I personally choose Android, and the headphone jack is one of many reasons that I choose Android over iPhone. You don't realize how much you can get done when you use your phone and listen to the games that way.

Just yesterday, I watched the first half of the Patriots and Redskins at home, but then had to take my younger daughter to cheer for the local peewee football game. I simply listened to the rest of the game on my phone.

For viewing, as my methods aren't exactly smiled upon...my default is to tell people to always use the legal roads.

Believe what? BOTH sides claim they would leave the channels up during negotiations and the other turned them down.

So either one is flat out lying or they're both spinning. Pretty sure it's the latter.

They're not lying they are just not telling the complete story. What NEITHER of them is telling is under what terms they needed to have in place to keep them up. I know Dish as said some of what they offered but I tend to think there were more hooks to it.

On Chrome or Firefox, I use the "Location Guard" add-on to make my geo-location results anywhere in the world I want them to be.

I finally got around to trying the "location guard" add-in for Chrome today and Locast does work fine with it. Unfortunately it doesn't work on Youtube TV as they use your IP to geo-locate you.

Yes, Location Guard doesn't work for all location based applications, but when it does work... ;)

IP based geo-locating can have it's drawbacks as well. My current Spectrum IP is from Rochester, NY, my Verizon IP is from Kansas City, KS, and my AT&T IP is from New York City, while I'm actually in the Albany, NY service region.

It's funny, even though I live in Kansas City, I never got a Kansas City IP when I used a Verizon hotspot!

Always Chicago, or Dallas, or St. Louis.
I've gotten a Dallas IP from time to time from Verizon, but I don't recall seeing Chicago or St Louis. But then I don't always check either when our IP's change as we move around.

Actually it does

Sent from my SM-G950U using the SatelliteGuys app!

How?

From the opening post

Fox Blocks Millions of DISH Customers from Local Channels, Cable Networks
- Fox removes local channels in 17 markets across 23 states and D.C.
- Fox pulls cable networks including FS1, FS2, Big 10 Network, Fox Soccer Plus and Fox Deportes
- Fox rejects DISH offer to extend contract

Don't see anything about RSN's in there which were owned by Sinclair for 3-4 months at the time of the opening post.
