Hi,

I have one of my dishes pointing to Intelsat 34.5 W. I'm getting an interference (time repeated pixelation) on one of the transponders (11079 V 10000 2/3). The channels with the lowest VPID are the ones with the worst pixelation. SNR level is quite good on this transponder.

Any solution for this situation?

VPIDs would have nothing to do with decoding. Just an identifier of the stream in a table.

As it is on one transponder, on one Satellite, I would try to isolate the problem.

What specific services are affected?

Any other hobbyist able to comment on the transponder and services reception?

Is it an encoding issue that affects viewing on other systems?

What image?

Happen with a different image?

Test with a different STB?

Happen on live only or also from recordings?

Test with a different LNBF?

Any switches in line? If so, remove as a test and have a direct coax run between the LNB and STB. Maybe signal leakage between ports.

A early issue i had was static. With winds would come static during our dry fire season in 2017. I grounded all my dishes and that resolved that issue. Don't know if this is related but wanted to share that.

I haven't been able to pick up that transponder yet, but I've been seeing a lot of breaking up on the 11110 transponder. I just assumed it was a problem at the uplink location.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have all my dishes and RF cables well grounded.

What image? TNAP 4.1 (came with the receiver I bought from Titanium Satellite)

Happen with a different image? I just have one image installed. In the near future will install other images.

Test with a different STB? I just have the OS Mio+ 4K

Happen on live only or also from recordings? Live

Test with a different LNBF? I will do it soon.

The services affected are TV channels. Image is TNAP 4.1 (Came with the receiver I bought from Titanium Satellite). I just have one receiver (OS Mio+ 4K). Happens on live TV. I have to test with other LNBF and remove the Diseqc 8x1 switch I have in line.

Hello,

Today I had the time to do some tests. I test service with a new LNB connected directly to the receiver (No switch) and the issue still continues.

If you are getting good signal then it should be good to go. Maybe fine tune that signal. I know it is 2/3 has 5-7 second delay when locking it in and the newer dvb s-2 signal which i noticed that i had to push my lnb in more closer towards the dish. As the reguler dvb signal was much easier to lock. Best bet to just really tune in that tp and see if that may resolve it.

Thanks for your help. How do I do fine tune? What is weird is that the huge problem (pixelations) occurs on three or four channels of a transponder (kc4) that has 9 channels.

Just get max signal on that TP by moving dish left right up or down and even make sure you have proper skew on lnb.
