They were talking about this very thing the other day on one of those talk shows. It’s only a matter of time before they have an NBA franchise. God knows they have enough arenas in the general area of McCarren and the Strip.
There have been multiple competing projects in some form of pre-development for the last decade, it'll happen sooner or later. MLB too, Athletics or otherwise. I think they'll hash things out with their Howard Terminal project, though if not they've got their options down to 2 unspecified spots near the strip and have contingent bids to buy land.

What network are you watching, or are you bouncing around ?
As far as I can tell, the Draft is on :
NFL Network
ESPN and
ABC
This would be a time for ESPN to do thier multiple channels analyst for it, but I don't see it listed anywhere.
ABC, I don't know if this is going to be the same as the ESPN feed, or are they doing thier own ....
Curious, is the Draft being shown on Amazon Prime ?
If not, why not, they want the NFL to be all Streaming ...

I hope we don't get a NBA team. they would likely be poor for awhile. but more so I get 4 home teams(War,Lakers, Clip's, Kings) now on my DTV sub. like that alot.
The league announced the first game to be on Amazon Prime, which is a week 2 game (week 1’s Thursday game, the kickoff for the whole league, is a part of the NBC contract, as is the Thanksgiving night game). It will be Chargers @ Chiefs.
Discussed in other threads, but it will be interesting if Amazon sublets a feed of these games to DirecTV for commercial use. My bet is that they do.
The rest of the schedule will be released on May 12. On another TV show that will run for hours, which you could simply look it all up in a few minutes the next morning.

ESPN and NFL network do basically the same broadcast. ABC does the family friendly puff peice broadcast not meant for the hardcore fan.
Amazon, while it has a commercial side, is mostly a consumer oriented company. Amazon Prime TV is not included in its business Prime program, and showing Amazon Prime shows from a consumer account would violate copyright.
Plus many places which would want to show the game on a Thursday night don’t have, or need, streaming quality internet. Thus IMHO, Amazon will allow the games to be sold on DirecTV commercial accounts only, much like certain PPV sports that are not available on DirecTV home are on commercial.
There will be No Black Friday NFL football this year .... I'm hoping never, but we all know how greedy the NFL is.

The October 30 game is an ESPN+ exclusive broadcast
Denver - Jacksonville.
There will also be a game in Munich, Seattle - Tampa Bay.
Not my pig, not my farm (I live in ET) but all of these games are starting at 9:30 ET. Which is 6:30 in Seattle and, I think 5:30 in Alaska, which generally follows the Seattle teams.
Arizona will play a game in Mexico City, which will be in the regular Monday Night slot and announced along with the regular schedule.
The Packers were the last team to not play an international game in this current deal.
That would be 2:30pm Greenwich Mean Time. I'm surprised they don't do a later time, like 5:30 in order to get the games on tv on a normal 12:30 time.
They’re trying not to conflict with the regular Sunday afternoon slate of games to make those international games stand alone….
The idea of “international games” is to cover more time slots.
People in the west have shown their willingness to watch games that start at 10 AM. No reason not to think that people in the east would not do the same, thus the 9:30 ET Euro starts.
Likewise, people in the east have shown a willingness to stay up to midnight or even later to watch the end of night games. No reason to believe people in the west wouldn’t as well, which is why I think we will see a once a month or so second night game with a 10 or 10:30 ET start within the next few years.
