I love the 6:30am games when I remember they're on.

Same here! I wouldn't like it on a regular basis, but I love having breakfast and watching an NFL game for a couple of weeks every year. So it's the Jaguars Invitational….who cares?? It's an NFL game coming to you live and in living color.

Yeah, and once the season is well underway it feels like less of a marathon day of football than that MNF double header to open the season.

Oh, I never even considered that. Perhaps the Week 2 MNF twin bill is a leak?

I'm also mildly surprised of the order of the Week 2 twin bill. IMO, Titans-Bills is more of a marquee matchup and should have went to ABC and the later time slot.

FOX Sports Analyst: He farted and ratings went up 2.7.
FOX Sports Executive: Give him $375 million.

I do not get the money being spent on announcers. As long as it isn't Gus Ferguson calling Soccer (painful!), does it really matter that much? Are people not tuning in because Ian Eagle is making the call?

I'm totally with ya!! You're talking to a guy that spent a Saturday afternoon waaaaay back in December 1981 watching a Jets-Dolphins on NBC. There were no announcers on that game, and guess what? I enjoyed it anyway (maybe I was just happy that I didn't have to be subjected to Bob Trumpy for another 3 hours ).
