NFL 2022

All 4 teams in the AFC East are currently in the playoffs. I would be SHOCKED if it stayed that way because there are just too many head to head matchups coming up. Besides, I fully expect BOTH the Ravens and Bengals to make the playoffs.

Probably makes the most sense to play it in Cleveland. The worst is just south of Buffalo... where their stadium is.

Man, my favorite place on Earth, Tobermory is looking to get 3 to 4 feet in this thing. Snow isn't new, but this climate change is really giving up some new types of storms with relatively warm lake water due to the very warm November (about 5 degrees warmer0 with the polar air going over, creating larger than typical differentials.

Parry Sound, Georgian Bay was the warmest it has ever been this time in November. It is currently a few degrees warmer than average for the month. The criticality is that typically these cold bursts occur when the water is also cold, but we keep getting these clashes of temperature.

No way they move it to Cleveland, nor should they. It’s a Bills home game so it wouldn’t be very fair if it turned into an away game. The NFL could move the game to Detroit. The Lions are on the road this week, and also the Bills have to play the Lions in Detroit on a short week on Thanksgiving Day. It’s their home game so any “advantage” should go their way.

They are playing the Browns. The crowd at this point in this disappointing season will likely be unfriendly to the home team.

The crowd is only a part of it. I just think the NFL will look at the integrity part of it, and want this to be nothing less than a neutral site game for the Bills. Just my $.02

Okay, Tim Hortons Field in Hamilton then. Only 3 to 6 inches there and it is only about 1.5 hour drive from Buffalo.

It is outdoors like Buffalo.

If they move the game, and I think they will, Detroit will be where it is played. As noted above, it would be very unfair to play in Cleveland, not just to the Bills but it would have Cleveland playing more home games than the rest of the AFC. The border hassles of Canada, for both the players and all the gear, are too large to deal with on a few days notice.

IIRC, the same thing happened a couple of years back and the Lions even repainted the end zones for the Bills.

Note that all 3 Florida teams have their stadiums available this week, and no snow is expected.

Nothing personal here but boy I wish people would stop posting Twitter linked content. I have no interest in anything associated with Twitter so I block it which results in an empty post. There really is no reason to link any social media content here. Just my $.02, carry on.

Being a short week before their Thanksgiving Day matchup against the Lions, I would assume the Bills will be staying in Detroit until next Thursday.

I would agree with an opinion based post, but this was reporting news from a legitimate news source. Shouldn’t they get they get credit for breaking the news?

I get not wanting to use Twitter, but explicitly blocking is kinda cutting off your nose to spite your face territory, sourcing news by just posting the person breaking it via that medium is the best and right way to do it on forums that support embeds like Xenforo does. Wish Tapatalk did better with rendering it.

The one and only thing I don't miss about Buffalo is the damn snow and long winters

If they played in Cleveland, Buffalo fans would go crazy. The NFL would never hear the end of it
