The Locals Detroit Lions need the overhaul from the TOP this time.
Mr. Ford , SHOULD SELL the team, the team has been dismal since I was born.
Every one else has been changed except the owner.
Maybe Chevy can buy them !!
Anyways, once the owner changes , then someone that has the team at it's interest will have it and will spend the money nessasary in this day and age to compete with the other owners in the league.
He hired Matt Millen ... With NO experience to do his job.
It's also pretty strange that the only people Millen/ Ford will hire around there are people who's name start with M. I find that very odd.
A few of Millens picks have been good, but most have flopped.
Roy Williams has been good (at least until he starts talking about how good they are)
M. Williams is a wasted pick, not even playing him
C. Rogers could not stay healthy.
Notice they are ALL receivers !
Ernie Sims looks like the real deal, but he was not thier first choice
K. Jones looks like he's worth it, until his injury, he may be out for next year too.
Lions will probably take another Running back now, and regret not taking Smith or even Quinn or Braum
Once the house is evacuated and re- building takes place....
Then they need someone like Troy Smith, to build the franchise around.
They need a REAL offensive line, in order for ANY QB to be successful.
Right now, you could put your choice of the very best QB in the league under center and they would look terrible.
Even Joey is doing well, now that he's gotten away from Millen and company.
Of course you need a good to great QB, at least Good, but you have to build the team from the LINE out, and the Lions have never figured out how to get the right pieces together, even thou they try to improve the line every year.
