Hoping to see some reviews of the XBOX 360 Elite from those who purchased it mainly to experience full 1080p over HDMI. Is there a big performance increase over the standard XBOX 360 when going from 1080i over component to 1080p over HDMI? Thanks!

My locals in Kansas City in HD are at times absolutely unwatchable. Reminds me of early days of streaming video over the web.

My H10 does this....not every 30 minutes (but I don't watch it that often) but does happen ocassionally.

For me, picture quality on my H20 local channels in HD is at time unwatchable - looks a lot like video on an average Internet connection on a PC. It's up and down, but has me very nervous about MPEG4 taking over all DTV broadcasts.

I had them offer it to me for free (long time customer, never been told no by customer retention - except if I ask to have something simply shipped to me instead of installed by a tech). But the earliest install date in their system was 7 weeks away. The local office was supposed to call me to...

I have set several Series Links on my R15 and everytime I select FIRST RUN, and everytime it records every episode - even ones with REPEAT very clear in the description. I check the prioritizer and it says "all episodes will be recorded" but back in the Series Link set up it clearly shows...

The R15 is crap. It's horribly slow and doesn't know the difference between First Run and Repeat. I set a series link to record only first run yet in the prioritizer it indicates all will record - and in it's defense it does! It's just not supposed to!

My installer a few weeks ago had on his work order to install the 3 LNB dish even though about 2 months prior I had the 5 LNB already installed. Obviously, I did not have him install it. And I chose not to take it even though he offerred to leave it as it was technically mine.

Just tell them you'd really like to upgrade to HD but you feel like you've already spent so much money on equipment with them and your local cable company is offering a great deal on HD (if possible - have a specific deal they're offering - D* might ask) and want to know what can they offer you?

I've done very well without ever having to threaten to leave, simply politely express some concerns or disspleasure with whatever it is I'm trying to get. HD Dish/Rec, SuperFan, etc..... Catch more flies with honey than vinegar they say.... Good Luck
