    As far as I know, Directv is suspending use of the SWM 3 and 5 LNBs due to cold weather issues.

    Be sure the green light is lit on the power inserter. Then reset each receiver.

    Is tuner 2 the same signal? Is this a hi-def dvd? Do you have a multi-switch?

    Could also be a bad BBC. You can unhook it from input 2 and check signal again for the 101. Be sure to reconnect it though.

    Get the protection plan and you can swindle a $20 service call. Also, just be grateful your landlord allows the dish on the roof, and have written permission to re-install ready for the tech.

    Defective H20-600

    There are some original components of the H20-600 that may shorten the life of the IRD. The components are being replaced at the repair facility, and the good retrofitted boxes are denoted by an "ECO 2.0" label on the bottom of the receiver.

    All HR2x (All HD-DVR series beginning with HR2): Black screen may appear during playback of recorded programming or while viewing / recording simultaneously. STB Engineering is working on this issue now; do not replace IRD. Call Centers are aware of this issue.

    Half my HD channels not coming in... help!

    When the message comes up, it will have a 1 or a 2 at the end of the message. Is it always the same number? Does the number change when you swap the cables?
