I don't get the purpose of the sound affects?

I'm curious to see if this download has better mp3 control. the firmware I have now will only play a few songs and they it freezes until you skip to the next song. Making it unuseable. I'm being told it has something to do with large libraries. I have 25k. Also the menu su*ks.

Does anyone know if we can easily go in and remove this splitter? Or is it soldered in? I don't want 2 OTA tuners I just want one that I can pickup the low powered stations that we have here in Denver. My RCA 210 is showing a 60% on some of them. There are at least 8 stations that won't be on D*...

Yes but the VIP-622 can not network the HR20 can. This is a very big plus over the VIP-622 when you have a home network and lots of music on our computer.

Marty, Have they had any luck with the Buffalo network drives comunicating with the HR-20's? Like the ones that are Microsoft "Plays for sure" Brand. I know Media player 11 works but I would like to be able to just go off the network drive if possible. Thanks

Hi Guys, So D* tells me that only Intel Viiv PC's can network with the HR20 is this true? And what about a Buffalo network drive can you pull music off of that if you have computers ont he same network that are running Media Player 11? Thanks

Please Help, D* new channel line up shows Altitude Channel only available on their Premier package. I now have it on the Plus package. So if my install is in Febuary to Mpeg4 does this mean that I will loose the Altitude channel because the new progamming shows it as not available on the plus...

I'm going to upgrade to the H20 so I can pickup the stations that I'm missing out on and was wondering for my SD tv's if there is any advantage to upgrading my old Hughs silver receivers. Will I be able to get more stations with the newer SD models as well as the newer HD? Thanks

I was told to run 6 for the HMC that should be coming out next year. But that would only be true if you want the HMC.

Someone had given me there old receivers that were the same brand as mine only newer than mine and my cards didn't work. I was going to call to see if D* could get them going and haven't had a chance yet. They are all Hughs boxes.

Not sure I got the info from the owners manual online for the HR20. And I only have to runs of cable. So one run I want to keep my OTA on and the other run I want to be able to use both D* tuners on.
