    Wild Blue for FTA

This one is supposedly only 1 year old and I can get the whole setup for only $10, so I thought it might be worth a shot for that price as a fixed dish on like G18.

Has the Eye Patch Gang taken over the FTA name?

We've got a lot of craigslister folks here just flat out advertising the theft of signal as Free to Air. Does anyone have just an eloquent paragraph describing the difference between real FTA and stealing it. Something we could just copy and paste in an ad to clarify the difference to anyone...

Enter to win: Sadoun Powertech DG380 HH Motor - End 2/28/09

    Was this a Deal?

Yes, This 3000 is kinda buggy, the video goes out if you touch the back panel, and the out coax doesnt seem to output, only through the rca connections. And this was New in the Box. It is lightning fast on channels and seems to get way better quality strength than the Pansat on the second feed...

Pansat 3500s Update usining SD slot(att.Iceberg)

Pansat firmware can be gotten from their download site. http://www.pansatusa.com/download.htm They only have the most current version on their site, so I always keep my older versions in case something is buggy.

    G10R is a time warp!

I keep my motored 90cm on G-10 mostly also. I go up north today to pick up my c/ku Bud. That one will stay pointed to G-10 instead and the 90cm will be back to work full time scanning the skies. Can't beat Hogan's 3 times a day.

    Motorized dish on a tripod?

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment, especially coming from one of our Highly Respected Gold Sponsors . The pallet idea actually came from your website, I added the bracket to add stability and keep it plumb. I plan to add another dish to that setup soon.

    Streaming Internet TV

Sure, there were a few old movie channels and 50's tv shows, public access and stuff like that, and webcams/casts at the bottom. Good for putzing around on. I just copy and paste right into Media player.

    Streaming Internet TV

I was looking around the internet checking out the free streaming TV sites and found a bunch but also found a bunch that required you to buy a program. One in particular had an updated channel list on their home page to download and install into their program. For grins I downloaded the zip...

Welcome, I set my system up about a month ago, after reading this forum for several weeks before joining. I had previously installed both D* and E* systems for myself in the past so the general principle of finding satellites and aligning a dish was familiar to me. Setting up the motor wasn't a...

    Motorized dish on a tripod?

Yes, I'm running a Pansat 90cm offset with a Pm900s motor on a tripod. I used a TV antenna tripod and heavy 1.5" conduit for a mast. All of it lagged down to a pallet. Here are a few pics of my setup. Mark

    WHY all the hack talk

Kudos to the Mods for their fine work. The first thing I do when I get home from work and read posts is to look for the locked threads or scan titles to see which dumba$$ is the next one to get or has gotten "Sunk". It's rather amusing to see them so desperate.

    Pansat 3500s firmware hiccup

Ok, since Pansat didn't put that in their directions I really hadn't thought to as general practice since it does reboot itself. But from now on I will. Thanks again, Mark

    Pansat 3500s firmware hiccup

This weekend I did a firmware upgrade with the new Pansat firmware version Pansat 3500S_060126_119_api(N).bin using the SD card. My box was on G-10R at the time. After the upgrade everything seemed OK, till the next morning. When going to lock on another Sat, I noticed no lines on the screen...
