Just wondering if anybody had a canvio 1tb hard drive to work with the micro hd and if there was something special needed for it. mine just locks things up and is not recognized. hardrive works fine connected to my laptop. i did try searching for that hard drive thread, but i am on break and ran...

A huge honking signal bar , bigger then the micro hd and with a more cut up tone. and available on a tp at any time, not just on an after the scan channel. microhd is not cut up enough at low Q

switch info is in there, dunno if it works yet. i know that 1- 8by works, but i have yet to hook the rest in. i didnt check sat list , i didnt think of it. i saved my settings and put them in as soon as i upgraded.

there is a new firmware out, i am messing with it now . old problems are that it doesnt play well with switches in series. we will see if it was fixed. Also the lnb settings on the old firmware worked for stacked lnb, but it didnt scan them right. so that is also something worth looking at.

Wasnt there supposed to be some minor problem with manual pid entry? Was the bandstacked 13v 18v issue fixed? i havnt tried any of the new file releases as i had not noticed any of those issues in release notes. i am aware of the workarounds for these problems, just be nice to have it fixed. if...

The coolsat 5k and 6k were legendary in their blind-scanning, are we looking at the same class / caliber of blindscan here? It is starting to look like it. edit- i also loved the way they deleted channels, smooth and easy to do.

manual entry of a couple of things be a good idea.

is there a danger here? are we about to lose our tv cause everyone will be converting? a quick search does not show many boxes that can do these, but a pc card that does some. Edit, on the other hand, there are many ways to encrypt so whats the difference anyways.

i have a massive switch setup,including multiswitches i dont see any bad delays. The slight delay is there, but it doesnt seem bad to me. only dif is i use all stacked LNB's

I know this isnt my question to answer, but i do have an answer for me- that answer to your question is yes AND Both, c-band 5150-5750 and KU FSS lnb (old dishnet linear lnb) 10750-13850, i believe, someone jump in if the 13850 is wrong. they are all i use.

no problem, take pics of the LNB LO setup pages and post them. I am interested in the LNB settings that show 5150-5750 c-band as a selection and 10750- 13850 ku band (I think is proper) Those would be Bandstacked LNB selections. If you cannot take pics, just see if the settings are there. That...
