Got it Tweaked the lnb also and I have a solid 69/70 on a coolsat 5000. Its actually a higher signal than my 10' Bud with the same receiver. The problem with the bud is any wind and I end up with pixilation. Thanks for all the help

I am getting closer. I moved the dish again and I am getting a color bar channel that says Echostar Amc-16 tr24 85Degrees W I am getting 80 signal quality on 12.162 and 12.181

I realigned and did another bling scan and i get (4) nbc sat mux had ocasional video with a msnbc logo on 1 channel. What sat am i on. Does anyone know?

How much difference would a 6" fortec dish 45.54 db make as opposed to a 100 cm. dish 41.02 db make when looking at Amc9. I am thinking of putting up a new dish.

I have seen others say that Rtn is on Amc3 C-band in many other threads but it seems that no one is willing to share any useful information on how to get it.

I am going to try to look for AMC9 today. I was previously on G3 95W cband. I have a 10' perfect 10, c/ku polarotor GI 550 for positioning and a coolsat 5000 and coolsat 8000. Will I get results with this setup? How do i set up my reciever? is the lnb freq 10.750? Thanks

Just installed a coolsat 8000 on my 10' perfect 10. I am getting G3 perfectly. I moved the dish to g28 used telstar 4 in the menu. manually put in a new transponder 3820 h 29125 fec 3/4 dvb-s2 8psk. I get a signal strength of 90 but 0 quality. What am I doing wrong? Thanks
