I currently have two HD 811 receivers that I own. Should I go with the new HD receivers that Dish offers? I do subscribe to the HD package that was offered a year or two ago. Am I missing any HD channels because I own the 811?? Just wanted to get some advice first before I call Dish or look...

I currently have a 811 receiver which is hooked up (DVI) to a RCA HDTV television. I have noticed that when I switch from 480p to 1080i the picture color fades in and out (light to dark). If I switch back to the 480p then the color does not fade in and out. Any solutions to fix this problem??

Went to antennaweb.org and found where all my local HD channels were. I have a couple of questions about my findings: 1) Currently, I have an indoor antenna hooked up and I am receiving a HD local channel that is 30.6 miles away. Why can't I receive a channel that is located less than 30...

Can anyone explain why DISH doesn't carry local channels on HD? Just curious since I can only get my locals on HD through OTA.

I currently have dish network, twin LNB, access to the cables from the attic, and wanting to run the cable to a downstairs room. I would like to know the best way to run the new cable to the room......how can I get it there without messing up insulation, etc......

I have a Dish 500, with two eyes and four cables that are hooked up to the LNBF. This set up should be a Quad correct? When I check my set up on the menu it states that I have two connections but a Twin not a Quad. Can someone please explain this one to me?

Thanks for the response. Are you talking about connecting the cable off the satellite to the cable of the room? Not running one continuous line from satellite to room, correct? Also, does it matter which of the remaining three cables I choose from the satellite?
