    Hopper Plus new hardware??

    I’m going to take a stab at this…..Hopper Plus. Dish takes the Hopper 3 (hence “ Hopper”) and adds an App Store to download most new streaming services ( the “Plus”). Finally making the Hopper a true stand alone home viewing/streaming hub.

    Zatznotfunny has reported FCC filings for new Joeys and possibly 2 new Hoppers….a Hopper Plus and an unnamed Hopper. Unfortunately, other than the existence of such coming hardware, no other details are given. Hmmmm, maybe our resident Dish gurus have more details they can share?

    Turn Hopper OFF, leave TV on

    Ive purchased a Hue Sync box....it syncs whatever is on the screen to my Hue lights throughout the room. All devices plug into the Syncbox instead of the TV. It will automatically switch inputs to whatever device turns on....but if a device doesn’t actually turn off ( Hopper) it will not switch...

    Thought this would be simple but apparently not. I have the 54.0 remote....I want to be able to turn off my Hopper while leaving my TV on. Dish rep tells me this isn’t possible....so I’m coming to the experts

He tells me that several popular channels have moved down to the lower package (although he didn’t say which ones and I stupidly didn’t ask), the Dish website...

    The Voice timer stopped firing for me (several other timers as well). I deleted the old timer and used the search function to recreate it, when to my surprise The Voice didn't show as available to record, but down in the "you might also like" section, was another The Voice. I had to select that...

    Love netflix search integration....any more options coming?

    Having Netflix added into the Hopper 3 search function is a great addition. I had it years ago with tivo and I'm happy to have it back. So my question for those that might know.........could more streaming options be on the horizon? Such as Hulu or Vudu.....

    Update Pulled

    My H2 reverted back but left carbon on the SJ.........my SJ was unusable till i did a reset......now I can watch tv but I cannot access the guide. Not a big deal....i plan to get the H3 anyway so it should work itself out then.
