DISH wants my LNB, even though I purchased it

with the churn these days there are a lot of LNB's arround, if dish has 50+% returned then that will amount to a large amount of money but it is not worth removing them because a tech going out will cost 3 times as much as the part. So they want as many back as they can but if it involves work...

Does relatively small change in the angle of satelte dish affect snow collection

The 1.4 dish will allow snow to acumulate, the old d500 wont. I Know that there are several bibs for the dish which are designed to protect the dish from snow. Over the years I have seen 1 or 2 in use and they do work.

Sorry, but I can only see H/J failure in the future...

For new customers it can be free, for existing customers its going to be $100... I don't see cost as a factor especially when the cost to install them is going to drop dramatically. (And since your an installer I can see why you would be concerned as your pay will go down as well.) Though I...

If the have a net loss of subs and they have greater revenue this can only mean that they are doing business at less cost which I see as unlikly or they have managed to have the current customer base spend more for Dish's product. I think that there is a limit to how much a customer will pay...
