    Yamaha receiver codes?

Still works Gotta love the search function. Went to Dish website all the 3 digit codes didn't work. Thanks Dish. The 2663 code worked great (RX-V1800), even after all the years since this thread was started. Thanks. :D

    Wilson Signalboost DB

Hello all, In the process of moving out of town and into the boonies...as a consequence my cell phone reception was spotty at best. Since I am also using the MiFi 2200 for my internet needs, cellular signal is important for me. The place I'm moving to already has an old Dish Network dish...

Urgent: Whats the Dishnetowrk's Fraud Dept Phone # ?

Easy, I don't think the tone of this thread warrants any extradition papers. I believe the terms "lost or stolen", also pertain to if your control of the card number has been lost or stolen, even if you physically still have the card. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. As...

Urgent: Whats the Dishnetowrk's Fraud Dept Phone # ?

That is a bad deal. To let others know, dispute the charges on your first bill, before you send a payment in and instead of cancelling the credit account you could report the card as lost/stolen, that will automatically suspend the old account from future charges and will give you a new card...

My 622 and Gold package is online. :D The installer fellow, used my old single cable from outside the house. Mounted the Dish 1000 where my Dish 500 was and changed out my 510 for the 622.

Doesn't the 360 only output 720p? If that is the case, then would the HD-DVD add on only put out 720p?

    Finally, a problem with HDMI......

Do you think your problem has anything to do with the HDMI connection coming loose from the circuit board issue that I've read about? http://www.satelliteguys.us/showthread.php?t=68950&page=6 http://mostly-linux.blogspot.com/2006/09/dont-blindly-believe-dish-if-hdmi.html

High Definition with a Dish 500?

Hello All, Finally all the stars are in the proper alignment and I put in my "Dish-it-up" order for the ViP622 with the Gold package. Seemed like a nice lady, the phone connection sometimes cut out but I really didn't have a problem understanding her. My current setup is a DVR 510 with...

    Subwoofer toubleshooting

Sounds like the subwoofer is staying in stand-by mode because it doesn't sense a signal. Either the signal is not coming out of your receiver or it isn't getting processed by the subwoofer. Does that subwoofer have line inputs as an option?

Best way to protect equipment from voltage sags?

I use a Monster HTS 2600. If voltage gets to high or to low, it just shuts everything off to protect from brownouts and surges.

    Paperless Biling

I don't understand the question? I've been paying by year for....well....years. I thought about the auto-pay thing, since I still get a bill every month for my superstation package. I checked into autopay, but the small print on the page....(which I posted here), looks like...

    Paperless Biling

Thanks for that. My concern was if you are encouraged to sign up for paperless billing, or if you are automatically signed up for paperless billing and paperless billing is auto pay.....then, if you decide to cancel paperless billing/auto pay, does it cost you to change.

Updated: Court blocks Permanent Injuction ordering DISH DVRs disabled

If Dish did a hostile take-over, then Tivo would probably have no say in the matter. A hostile take-over would be Dish purchasing a controlling share of TIVO publicly traded stock. Currently going for less than $8 a share TIVO Stock

Warner may start using VC-1 on Blue-Ray!

The review of the Samsung player is this month's Sound and Vision magazine, showed no difference when viewing a 1080p-1080i-1080p or 1080p-1080i signal. The Samsung puts out a 1080p video signal, theoretically the best choice if your TV can accept that resolution, since both Blu-ray Discs and...

    What resolution is analog RPTV?

    The NTSC format is 704 x 480, 1280 x 720 and 1920 x 1080. This is what is broadcasted...your tv will then let you see it as-is or modify it a bit. Your tv has a 4:3 aspect ratio(4/3)=1.333 so at 480p your looking at 640 x 480 (480*1.333), at 1080i your looking at 1440 x 1080.

bad install, Dish wants money for repair.

Why have home protection; it makes everything more complicated and you still have to pay for everything. Bad deal about your install. Maybe run an ad in the local paper to provide a little "free" advertising for the installer. :)
