    Scott - It's a small world!

Scott - I work for a direct mail shop (junk mail), and one of our printers jammed, and the operator brought me a sample of the last letter printed. I looked at it, and it was for Scott Greczkowski in CT!! I don't know if you remember me, but I met you (and Prize Goddess) at Team Summit at The...

    Interesting...

There are plenty of citizens of Mexico, that are employed here in the United States. So, "our laws here for healthcrae" DO have a bearing on non-U.S. citizens. Tom in TX

    home plug for 722 internet

Actually, if I'm not mistaken, you only need the one unit on the router side. It puts the internet connection onto your power line. The 722 has Homeplug built in. You just plug the 722 into the outlet, and you should be good to go! Tom in TX

    HD channel weirdness

They showed up on my two 622's a few days ago. When I select one of these channels, it goes black for a little bit, then says something like "We are aware of the problem... you can watch non-locals..." Even though it wasn't a "local" channel I tried to tune to. Then I get the aquiring sat...

Thank You, Scott, Satellite Guys & Dish Network! (NEW PHOTOS ADDED)

As a member who attended last year, and was unable to this year, I can say I sure wish I could've been there again! I enjoyed the frankness of the meeting, and can completetly understand why some things discussed in that room will never leave that room! That is why we get the one-on-one with...

    Homeplug question

I have an ethernet cable going from my router to my homeplug unit, that is plugged into an outlet. It sends the necessary info over the powerlines to both my 622's. Nothing needed at the receivers. Just plug 'em into the outlet! Tom in TX

    ViP622 DishCOMM

Jason, what I have done is I have one of my 622's wired directly to my router. I have a Homeplug Powerline Ethernet Adapter ($19), that is wired from my router to an outlet by the router. My second 622 is plugged in to another outlet, in another room, and it has full functionality. Tom in TX

    dishonline question

My adapter plugs in to the router, and into the adjacent wall plug. The connection does travel thru the powerline to my 622. Nothing needed on that end. I don't know about the USB to your computer part, though. Tom in TX

NFL Network GB at DAL - PQ was great!

My 55" Mits Rear projection CRT looked awesome last night. It also does 1080i natively. The colors were great, and no artifacts (that I saw). I guess everyone has a different idea of what looks good, but while watching, I thought about how nice the picture was. Tom in TX

I agree! Some people just have to have something to gripe about! If you do not want to take part in this OPTIONAL test, fine, don't. But there's no need to continually bash Dish/Charlie, or those of us who choose to participate! Tom in TX

I think some people have enough "honor", that if they agree to a confidentiality "agreement", that they "agree" to keep the information confidential. I know I will, at least! Tom in TX
