I had to restart my unit about 12 times before it was useable today around 5pm. The resolution was screwed. (only on an old 1080i projection) I thought it was toast. It finally took and seems a bit more responsive.. Whats with the 1080p? Has anyone tried this?

The local digital channels are always being broadcast in their native hd resolution but its the actual recordings of the shows/news/commercials that are not in the HD resolution, so that is why it doesnt look HD, but it looks better than analog, or the crappy overcompressed digital Directv basic...

Well, I had to go out and buy the attenuator. Hooked it up... Seems to have improved the problem. Didn't do any extensive testing. Although I had to turn it down to the point of ABC not coming in good but its ok for now. The real test will be when I'm watching a full Episode of CSI... Thanks...
