Hello everyone, I am a sat rookie and want to hook-up two TV's in one room in order to get 2 games playing at the same time. I got a sat digital cable splitter with power pass on both legs and hooked it up between the outlet and the two receivers. It didn't work. Is what I want to do possible without running a second cable to the room? I have standard Directv, no HD yet. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Well with a multi-switch you will still need a 2nd line in that room as the switch needs 2 lines from the dish (18") and 4 lines from the 3 LNB phase III. The other thing is the remotes, 1 remote will control 1 or 2000 boxes so you will have to position the receivers so that you don't change the channel on the other.

A single remote can be setup to control 2 receivers separately right next to each other. and i am sure once the
op knew he needed a multi-switch he would need an additional line.
