2 transponders low signal

On my 119 signal page I am getting high 80s and low 90s on all of my transponder accept for two. One transponder is at 40 and the other is at 20. With all the rest having a strong signal what would cause these two "black sheep"

Those would be spotbeams, they are aimed at different areas, usually to provide locals and RSNs, it does not affect _your_ ability to get the programming you paid for.

oh. Cool. I thought the spot beams always showed 0.

No problem, it is possible to be on the edge of a spotbeam, which would read non-0.

Specifically, the spots on 119 are 23, 25, 27, and 31.

what about on sat 103? i get my hd locals from that sat. but i notice three of the transponders (1,3, and 5) always read much lower than the other 3!!

Your locals are on one transponder on 103, the rest are other people's spotbeams....
