Beckett out of the game despite a reasonable pitch count............oblique must be acting up.

The Red Sox are now, 16-3 in their last 19 "win or go home" games dating back to 1999. Incredible!

Wow, again!!! I mean the Red Sox were left for dead the other night and now they are one game away from the World Series. Just incredible!!!

Congrats to both teams for a helluva series!! By far, best of the playoffs and actually have made the overall playoffs better because of this series. If this series wasn't as good as it is, I shutter to think what the playoffs would be like.

From ESPN research:

• The Red Sox improved to 8-0 all-time in a Game 6 when trailing a series 3-2 and have now won nine straight ALCS elimination games, an LCS record.

• Boston moved to 26-11 all-time in games in which it could have been eliminated. Only the Marlins and Brewers have better records in MLB history.

• Red Sox starter Josh Beckett is now 3-0 with a 1.38 ERA in four appearances in elimination games.

Who's the biggest NFL disappointment so far this season?

Best World Series of all-time?
