The Wolverines play a weekend series (Friday and Saturday) with Lake Superior State. Also, the Cadets begin their season this Friday.

Nope...the entire family is there, but I only fly-back for visits and sporting events. I mostly float back-and-forth between Dallas and DC. However, I will be able to watch the UMD vs. Wisconsin game on FCSC.

Wisconsin pulls the goalie and score in the final minute of regulation, only to lose the game 6-5 with 10-seconds left in OT. Other than the refs totally missing an obvious penalty against UMD that led to the winning goal, and a few lapses on defense by both teams, it was a great game.

More importantly, Michigan defeats Lake State 7-2.

In other notable action, Norwich beats New England 8-0 outshooting their opponent 55-9.
