Johnson is toast...missed another 6-footer! He just can't bring his "A" game to the final round of the majors.

Phil lipped a birdie putt on #8 to take the outright lead; Clarke did the same on #6.

Here comes the sideways rain...but Clarke drains a 22-footer for eagle on #7 while Phil missed a 10-footer for birdie on #9. It beginning to look like a two man tournament.

Clarke -7 thru 7, Mickelson -5 thru 9.

Phil sinks a 19-footer on #10 to go to -6 and one-shot behind Clarke. Incredible!!!

Well, Darren Clarke does "his thing" while the others faltered. Congrats to Darren on his 1st Major Win (20th British Open) and the 3rd Major Win for the folks from Northern Ireland in the past 2-years.

They have no choice. LOL! From as long as I remember, EVERY time they play that major, 3 out fo the 4 days is ALWAYS rainy, windy and chilly....in freakin' mid to late July!

That's why the people from this region are freckle-faced and pasty-white...and are probably vitiamin D deficient. Not a friendly place for the folks from South Florida or the Caribbean region.
