let's see: how many players in all of our major sports have lost their careers because of drug use over the past 40 years ?
imo it would be hard to find 40. compared to the rest of sociality hardly a drop in the bucket.

It's only a big deal because it's a job interview for them and showing up to one where you know you're going to be tested says a lot about a person's character...let's see: how many players in all of our major sports have lost their careers because of drug use over the past 40 years ?

Throw in the fact they KNOW they are going to be tested...and they still do it.
Either they are stupid or addicted. Either way, it is not go for their professional career. LOL!

Still no announced team for the 2014 version of Hard Knocks. Unless a team steps forward and volunteers, the Bills, Bears, Cardinals, Giants, Jaguars, Raiders, Rams, and Steelers can be compelled to do the show, under rules passed last year *.
* franchises with new coaches, teams that have been in the playoffs at least once in the past two years, or teams that have done the show once in the past decade are exempt from being forced into appearing

Last I saw suggested it was down to Bears, Giants, Steelers.

It would be interesting to see the end result if a team ends up "compelled" to do the show against their will...
Wont be the Bears. Coach Trestman is literally the polar opposite of Motor Mouth Ryan
I would love to see it be the Bears. Not only do I love the Hard Knocks show but the Bears are my favorite team. I'd love to see behind the scenes there.

I'm kinda in the same boat ... I have heard who my teams are thinking about but thats about it.
I have purposely avoided all the hoopla.
I haven't read many mocks, just have heard many mocks talked about over sports radio and such, with that I am confident that the lions will make a pick that makes no sense
