No, the Vip211k will have the same software version. The current versions are L5.52 or L5.51.

I ran a checkswitch and the RV's antenna came back as SW42 with 119° and 110°. What is an SW42? Is it legacy? Has anyone had any luck getting 129° with an older RV dish?

SW on a Dish switch should be legacy, you should be able to get 129 at the expense of 110 using your current equipment. Raising the az and moving the dish 9 degrees to the right should get you 119 and 129.
