Do a check switch, and then when it goes to acquire sat signal, turn both tuners off and wait for 2 - 20 min.

well i tried it did not work do u know how to do a mem dump on the 722 maybe think would clear it up..

Does it show software version 610 in your system info screen?

What's a "mem dump" ?

Pull the power plug on the receiver for 5-10 minutes and let it try again. Then again, it can't install partially...

yes it shows 610 it appears to be the dvr part of the 722 because it plays ok live but when u pause it and un pause it it starts screwing up.

Well, if it has the 610 software now, then it's not going to re-download it. The weather doesn't have anything to do with the software download being bad. If it was corrupted somehow, it wouldn't have installed it. It sounds to me like you may have a bum receiver. How long have you had this 722?

Ever since I got this update my 722 calls in every day (under last connect in counter screen).
Before the update, it only called in once a month.
My other rec. a 625 still only calls in once a month.
Are they trying to catch me with it unplugged or does Charlie want to know how much Olympic coverage I'm watching.
I would watch a lot more if they had added my HD locals on the 30th like they promised.
