I'd just be happy if they'd update the guide data for OTA KFXL (which they already carry on satellite and therefore have the guide data already...just changing a "pointer" I would imagine), which I only submitted 2 months ago...

*sigh*

Does this mean that maybe the fight with Freedom Communications is over? (I realize its NA still, but why add a subchannel if an agreement isnt forthcoming?)

I think so, as I mentioned a couple of weeks of ago - Freedom is under new management.

5191(6) - WRGB [MPEG4 HD] added to Echostar12 61.5W TP 03 Spotbeam 3 (NA)(Schenectady, NY-CBS)

yeah!

Holding out hope that WTVC will be added. Noone has been getting back with me though, maybe they are under tight lip?

Your neighbors got CW in HD..not dull for them ;)

And maybe some of the Tulsa folks with "summer" houses in OKC.

I wouldn't want to summer in OKC.:D Prefer the lakes and hills of NE Oklahoma instead of the plains of central and western oklahoma, and the tv stations are better here. The weathermen are not quite as annoying as those in OKC, still annoying but they have let up recently after the last big hoohah during sweeps week got more bad publicity for them.

Locals are not that big a deal for me, especially with the ota tuners in the newer dvrs. National HD is at the top of my menu.

WQOW in Eau Claire is ABC channel 18 not 15 as listed. Dish already carries WXOW ABC 19 in SD and HD which is in the same DMA and owned by the same company.

I bet this is really the CW which WQOW has an a sub channel and local cable as channel 15.

usually if its a subchannel it will say "D" after it (ie: WQOWD)
but I'm thinking it might be a glitch...as for the channel number, when Dish adds a subchannel, they use the DT channel as the Dish channel. WQOW broadcasts on digital 15

cool. Looks like Dish reached an agreement with the owners so they can carry 2 of the same affiliate from the same DMA (normally they dont have to unless they're in different states)

weird as they wont use 18 as their designator but opting for the DT channel of 15?
