Ok, just checking. :)

I got the joke about the lack of quality content on most channels nowadays.

All gone. An era of getting Distants, for some of us since we signed up with DISH shortly after they started business is gone.

Very Interesting. Can't see why they would do that, other than to offer them. But then there would be no need to move them at all.

Well I am not in either category. I only had service residential since 1999 - had to get waivers in 2006 which was like pulling teeth but accomplished such. Now they are flushed down the toilet. For the life of me, I know that their had to be a method to keep the service on either at the break even point or profitable. Sounds like there must have been a "slight" interest in the service. Frustrated, real frustrated which is not going to change anything.

Give a little time for things to shake out. I don't see DISH ever going back to Distants for homes, since such a low percentage of subscribers would even qualify, let alone be interested.
But the uplink report gives some hope they may go back to it for RV's/Truckers. That is at least an opening to get it into the house.

USTVNow and a Slingbox are other possibilities.

Why are you watching TV if you live in Hawaii? It's gorgeous there. Not like here in arctic Iowa where we need TV to keep our sanity because we're inside our homes so much. CABIN FEVER

So who has been attacked by a Directv sales man at a walmart?
