acceptable mesh size for ku band

I am getting ready to install a recently aquired dish. The mesh measures 1/4 in by 3/16 in. Will this mesh be small enough to receive ku band?

I have always heard here on the forum if a typical-sized pencil won't fit through the hole it should be acceptable for Ku-band reception.

Generally speaking, it is more difficult to get Ku on a mesh BUD than a much smaller solid offset dish.
