ABS-CBN = The Filipino Channel
^-- both use the same receiver but.. oddly have the ADTH and ABS-CBN interchanged.
I bought two of these off ebay and the seller said they powered up fine. which they do. except umm. they dont boot. only 1 out of the 3 LEDs light up. bad sign because all 3 should on boot.
my aunt has the same receiver. was thinking about cloning it.. any ideas/steps on how to go about getting the firmware from her receiver onto both of mine? almost forgot to mention that they have serial ports on them. preferably id like to get the firmware onto a computer as its not too practical to carry the two (or one) receiver to my aunts house.
can provide pictures if needed! (say for jtag or something.. im not sure if my receiver has it but i guess thats why I'm looking to everyone in the forum for help)
