AMC5: sudden momentary blackout!

Today in the morning, while I was preparing to go to work, I enjoy "The Classic Arts Showcase" ch. NYN in AMC5 when...Quality signal went down...image pixelating and strange noises came out TV...

I thought that the antenna had fallen, I ran scared out doors...dish ok, no wind, sun shine, all ok....What happen!! Quality K.O.:down

I wait... 5 min....Quality up: 80%---ufff----bad dream?...no! I´m awake..


Any comments?

That transponder occasionally does that. (Signal gets really low for a little while and then comes back to normal)

The EXACT same thing happened last night while my wife was watching American Idol on one of the FOX channels on G10R@123W. Time was around 6:30 Pacific Time. Someone was mentioning solar interference in another thread. Who knows?

That happened here watching Idol on Fox as well. Gone, then came back slowly in quality.
