I tried a fresh S9 blind scan now. Only the scrambled channels are caught with blind scan. But if you scan the 12185 tp individually, it catches $998. When tp is individually scanned, pre-edit values are: SID: 998; VID: 4386; AID: 4387; PCR: 4386; Video Type: H264. It's necessary to edit SID so that a future tp scan won't overwrite your edited channel data.

The Azbox needs a different SID for each channel on the transponder to work correctly, and needs a different PMT PID to be able to record. I used 101 for the PMT PID, and 301 for the SID, and added one to each number for each new entry.

In case you are not already doing this, I'll put up some info that I posted way early in this thread.
There are actually three channels hiding in there. While you are editing channel 998 you should also "add new channel" and key in the other two.

In addition to the above info, I found on my OpenBox I had to change the video from Mpeg2 to H264, again using the editor.
I've been receiving these 3 stations for a couple of weeks based on your info posted previously. No problem here. Just trying to help others who seem to have a problem getting them edited to view.
Keith, well I tried EDIT PID using all 3 SID's as per your suggestion on 12185 H 20000 3/4 on Anik 3 / 118.7W on AzBox Premium Plus, but still won't scan in even on a Circular LNB, on 12ft Mesh Dish with following settings:

The Tp Scan seems to go thru too fast to scan in anything.
When I tried a Total Blind Scan on the Circular LNB I got about 400 Scrambled Channels with 2 clear Help set up Dish Channels!!
I do have the C Band Fusion Utility, KDEV - TV channels on my Norsat C Band LNB on 118.7W on a separate Satellite scan. Do you know if the above 3 Channels KNVX, KPNX, & KSAZ, can be scanned in on my Norsat KU Band LNB?
Probably just a typo, but KPNX AID is 4643. My S9 cannot catch these on blind scan: must scan in only 12185 alone first before beginning to edit.
Other than what cyberham noted about the one APID, that should work. You don't need to scan the transponder after entering the data, the channels should be in your channel list and be viewable immediately. Of course, that all depends on what SQ you are getting on the transponder. If you aren't getting any SQ on the transponder, then you do not have the correct circular LNB (which needs to access the normally linear frequencies). If that is the case, then do try your Norsat Ku Band LNB, as some have been able to access the channels that way (depending on how strong the SQ is).
Despite being circular, since the tp frequency of interest (12.185 GHz) is in the regular North American FTA band (11.7~12.2 GHz), you should use the 10.750 GHz LO. An LO frequency of 11.250 GHz would be used to receive stations in the DBS band (12.2~12.7 GHz).
In the good old days lyngsat used to list the epg tp for a particular sat.
You would scan in channels from that tp and leave the receiver on that tp to absorb the epg data.

I am trying to scan these channels using a Pansat 9000.
I have a good signal at 12185 (72% +) but after entering the PIDs
nothing scans in.

These signals are DVB-S, H.264 HD, 720p (ABC, Fox) and 1080i (NBC) signals. I see no mention of H.264 support in the Pansat 9000 specs. Perhaps your receiver is compatible only with MPEG4 due to its age which might explain your not being able to receive them.
Added: Oops, this line is in the Pansat 9000HD manual: Standard Definition/High Definition contents (MPEG2 and support MPEG4 AVC/H.264). This does indicate your 9000HD is ready to receive them.

sathint.com shows the epg tp as 11806 R,but that was from 2009
They used to have a "you're aimed at 118w" channel in the clear,I don't see that anymore.
Thanks again. I just can't understand why these will not scan in when I have a signal over 70%.
If you've entered / revised the correct PID values, you don't need to scan. The channels will then be in your channel list ready to view.
