That could be, I just probably didn't notice the phone, but you would think they would make a point of letting people know thats what was happening.

you would also think dish would mention 3 tuners in the hopper and how primetime anytime works instead of saying up to 6 recordings at once. every company does it

There is fine print on both commercials hopper included. Besides... only idiots think that we can somehow magically send directv programming to your tv with 0 support hardware whatsoever. That being said I heard the "so wireless really means two wires" again today... idiots..

PTAT works and it doesn't require any additional hardware. Voice command is not that way but apparently they made you think it was.

PTAT works and it doesn't require any additional hardware. Voice command is not that way but apparently they made you think it was.
but the way it works is not explained. i considered the hopper when it came out, but the lack of flexibility for those 6 recordings steered me away. so yeah it works, just not like the commercial implies
