I'm a big fan of 5W especially in C Band .If you check flysal you'll see a lot of reports FlySat Atlantic Bird 3 @ 5° West made by me and also check my youtube to see videos of the channels

Wow ! I love this Satellite, but I don't think i can receive it from Texas. Where are you located doctor?

his location is posted...actually 2 different ones are posted?

the one in his "locl"...googling it puts him east of Hungary but the one in his sig gives me Sweden which sounds more accurate

Thanks Ice. At 5W, even those located at the East coast will not get this bird. Too far east.

actually in NYC its a 7 elevation which can be doable (Hispasat for me in MN is at 8 1/2 elevation)

looks like New England might have a decent shot and Atlantic Canada would work too

My signature showes that I receive satellites between 95East (NSS6/Ku ) and -37,5W (C/Ku)
