Its funny looking back at my posts here about what I drank
Found out I was a diabetic about 10 years or so ago. Hereditary (yet it skipped my mom and aunt/uncles) so for me its just grape water
I get the Crush Grape Singles to go and mix 9 of them in a gallon jug (yes it should be only 8 but 9 tastes better). Pour from there into some water bottles to take to work. Works great!
Every now and then if I go to a restaurant with my mom/stepdad I get a lemonade. Otherwise its just water there.

When I found out I was a diabetic I stopped drinking pop. I was drinking like 14-15 cans a day minimum :eeek:eeek. Weekends were worse. I knew I had issues when I'd look on the counter and see that many empty cans a day. When I was diagnosed I went to 2 cans for like 3 days then cut it out completely. Oh boy that was about 2 weeks of HELL at work with pop withdrawal. I took to work all the pop I had accumulated (back when it was like 4 12 packs for 8 or 10 bucks) and gave it all away. No lie. I took like 2 cases of flavored pop (grape, strawberry etc), a case mixed of sprite and coke, 4 cases of Dr Pepper and if I recall root beer and 38 CASES of Cherry Coke. Brought it in a case at a time of cherry coke and wrote on the white board "free pop. its still good but I can't drink it anymore. Don't hoard it." When I put the last case in the fridge I wrote "This is the last case of Cherry Coke. Enjoy it but it is not my problem if you get pop withdrawal" :D

Except your Morning OJ ...
I pretty much Quit drinking OJ, because of the amount of Sugar in it.

I bought a 2 pack of Tropicana Pure Premium, 100% Orange juice ... NO ADDED Sugar (it says on the bottle)
After the 1st bottle was gone I noticed what the sugar content of the bottle was ... (I usually consider under 10 to be ok) this one said 22 grams ....
That second bottle is still sitting in the fridge.
Just the natural sugars in the juice. There are no added sugars. No different than the 3-4 apples I eat a day

I'll take Beers I've never heard of for $200 Alex… (but would try) Point Special

Interesting. I've never heard of them either. I like the way they got away with selling beer during prohibition. Good luck finding Point Special here in NM though. Beer distributors here limit what beer you can buy. Go to our neighbors in TX or AZ and you can get whatever you want. Good thing we have excellent breweries right here in NM to fill that void.

Need to try a Fanta orange soda, haven't had one in ages, post in lunch thread brought it to mind, they have them locally... Frostie a Root Beer I love but they don't have around here, we had some in Missouri at Uranus fudge factory a few years ago.
Uranus fudge factory…. 😂

Fanta. Orange, presumably.

Shall we start a petition to ban same?

Oh, WAIT! It's a GREAT drain cleaner!
On ACDU, sailors were constantly err, "purloining" those packets for such purposes. NBD. Nobody wanted to drink the stuff.

Actually it isn't. It leaves a sticky mess that worsens the clog.

What's for dinner ?

Homemade Breakfast Sausage
