Query: I live in Columbus, Georgia, approximately 140 miles southeast of Birmingham, Alabama, and about 100 miles southwest of Atlanta, Georgia. When I moved from the Birmingham area to Columbus, I kept my locals (by "moving"). I currently get the B'ham channels just fine, and in HD. Is there any reason I wouldn't have the same success with the Atlanta HD locals, if I were to switch my service address? From the older maps I've seen, the B'ham and Atlanta spots overlap, and both cover my area, but I don't know how accurate that is any more. I'm not entirely certain how to interpret the data on lyngsat, compared to my transponder strengths. Does anyone know of a reason this wouldn't work? Anyone with any similar experience?
