You could probably pick up some copper water pipe from a hardware store and cut it for you specifics then and get a tad more rf on the LNB. Or you could build a small horn antenna on the front of this "pipe waveguide" and pick up a bit more stray RF. I'd try 3/4 inch coper water pipe to get near the frequencies of Ku band. From a quick calculation, 3/4 inch will work from 10Ghz to 15Ghz, although Ku is 12.4GHz to 18GHz.
I've never popped the plastic off the front of an LNB but I assume that is what they are already doing. It'll be interesteing to see if you come up with something.
