Petaluma is a community 7 miles south of me. This whole area has been rooting hard. They can hold their heads up!

It was a FUN game, great entertainment. Tennessee deserved to win but that comeback really gave the Petaluma kids something to be proud of and should have taken some of the sting out of the loss. Only bad thing is I'm afraid that took too big a toll on the pitching staff and will hurt in today's final as Japan is a very good team.

Yeah that's the bad thing about a game like that plus Japan played earlier and got a little more rest ...

Can't believe the size of some of these kids on all of the teams. I've seen a couple that I'd love to see my CU team recruit for linebackers, and most of my Giants team can't stroke anything as far as some of those home runs have gone.

One thing I like about team Japan, the bills on their hats are more "normal" instead of flat, and the player named Takahasi, I went to school with a guy named that... naturally around here everyone shortened it to "Taco".

How do you get Leno mixed in with such good shows (although the Jaywalk bits are like science fiction with all the space cadets).

Have to add The Big Bang Theory, The Mentalist, Bones, and Fringe

Jaywalking and Headlines are my not miss items... I like Jimmy Fallon but usually watch instead of dvr'ing and haven't got into Dave since he moved from the Late Show...

Love Jay's monologue and sketch...only watch the guests if they are worth watching (seldom). Major Crimes and Perception have yet to impress me, but I'm giving them a shot.

Haven't watched Major Crimes yet, but even though I like most of the original cast, I don't care for Mary McDonnell - bad trade for Kyra. I like Perception - fan of the offbeat and it's very well done, both scripts and actors.

Don't watch any latenight - old fogey spoiled by Steve Allen, Jack Paar and Johnny.
