Can I get local stations on my dish?

I have purchased a dish from Glory Star. Can I get local stations on it? If so, how?

"Your" local stations, no.
But there are network channels up there.
Where is your Dish pointed to?

I think the short answer here is no..Thoiugh to be honest I am a newbie too. There might be a way to hook into an antenna with something like an A/B switch..But there will be other s that can tell you better than I can..

Local Channels

I am aimed at 99 W for glory star and 101 W for AMC 4

The box has an internal atenna input which I have plugged in my antenna; however, right now I only get NBC. I am worried that once the stations switch to digital I won't get anything.

Is there a way of getting NBC and ABC?

the antenna input on the glorystar box is just a pass through. To get digital OTA you need a converter box
