I have a bunch of dual outputDN legacy lnb's hanging around & I have a viewsat palt w/ T-90 dish ( i dont want to spend the money to buy a bunch of reverse polarity lnb's)
. I've read that you can use regular lnb's, but you have to reverse the polarity settings in ird settings. my question is do I have to first put on a reverse lnb find the sat, scan it, then go to ird & reverse the polarity's, or can I directly add the DN lnb & tune into the sat & then go to the IRD & reverse the polarity. I dont want to go on the roof & stay thier for a hour trying to tune into a sat only to later realize that the DN lnb wont even pick up the signal because its not a reverse lnb. can I at least tune into a sat with this lnb & later reverse the polarity or will it not even see/recognize the signal?
Thank you
PS: my apologize if I posted in the rong forumn, I "THINK" this is the correct forumn.
