Perhaps he has a French name but was born in England. That makes him English. Example: Jean-Luc Bilodeau is an actor who was born in Vancouver, BC. He may be of French heritage but he is definitely Canadian.... :)
No. Jean Luc Picard was born in France. His family has a vineyard there.

However, Patrick Stewart was born in England.

But, most importantly, he lives in Brooklyn.

Aw, you Brooklynites all think your borough is da best.... From a former Queens and Bronxite I don't believe that at all. That's why you and I live in the Bay Area today!!! :)
