Cleveland Browns (for HD MM)

one of Ben's first ever NFL games was in a monsoone in MIami, it might have been his very first game.
Ben was 12 -19 with a few drops from the usually reliable Hines Ward.

To be fair, that was a soon-to-be 15-1 team against a horrid Miami team, the worst in team history until last year.

But, Wasn't Anderson the one everyone was drooling over in Cleveland last year ?

Jimbo

To be fair, Brady Quinn is untested in the regular season, so no one actually knows how good or bad he would do in comparison to Derek Anderson.

DA on the other had 3,787 yards passing (5th all-time in team history) and 29 TD's (1 away from the franchises' single season record) in 2007. DA also took a league low in sacks at only 14 last year. In comparison, Big Ben had 47 and John Kitna suffered 51 sacks in '07.

DA did well while being thrown into the starting position after game 1 of last year. He had a record of 10-5 as a starter and did not lose a single game at home last season. His statistical outburst even earned him a ticket to the Pro-Bowl, also a first for Browns QB's in quite some time.

So with everything he's accomplished last season and the amount of injuries that the Browns are suffering from this year, a QB controversy should be the last thing on anybody's mind right now.

The difference is that last year the brownies played a 4th place schedule, and this year they play a 2nd place schedule.

Everyone in the AFC North plays the NFC East this year.

The only difference between the Browns and Steelers schedule is that the Steelers play the Patriots and Chargers, while the Browns play the Broncos and Bills.

I wouldn't get too excited about your Steelers just yet either. You beat the lowly Texans week 1 and just barely beat the Browns in week 2. Have fun with Philly next week and Dallas on week 14.

They aren't gonna go 16-0.

Or is it? These other cities you mention have alternatives to distract them. This year has been the season of disappointment so far here in Ohio.

Detroit has the Red Wings and Pistons.
Miami has nice weather.
Kansas City has Missouri CFB and good BBQ Sauce.
St. Louis has Missouri CFB and good Ribs.

Not sure what to say about Cincy. There teams are a disaster right now. Must be an Ohio thing. ;)

Miami has a good Baseball team. They Ray's...

Actually, the MLB team playing in Miami is the Marlins.

Tampa is where the Rays are located.

Ah either way, Florida has a decent team..
Oh, and the Heat won a championship few years ago :)
