Over a year ago I rigged up my 6' offset Prodelin dish with a prime focus LNBF for 4DTV use on 105°-W5. I tried a few different setups and the scalar ring didn't seem to make a bit of difference and ended up simply being the holder.

I ordered a conical scalar from Robby and installed it and what an increase. Now, I see what you guys were talking about in the mini BUD experiments. AMC18 being a strong satellite to begin with helps when using a 6' dish. I had previous Q readings of 70s to 88 at the highest. Now in the 90s :D. The ebno from +5.8 lowest, +8.0s highest to +11.0 now so far.

It's installed position doesn't affect the ku band LNBF next to it one bit. It still gives 100Q on 101°W. Perfect fit together.
