Conical Scalars

I know several of the folks in here like to experiment with different equipment, and I was wondering if someone has used a conical scalar on a standard BUD either with, or without the standard scalar installed, and if so, what were the results? Just curious.

I think it would be like shootin' pool with a curved cue stick. You might make a shot

I tried the conical scalar on my 4' prime focus dish, it didn't help at all. The flat scalar with the titanium c band lnb was much better.

I was just wondering. I figured it would be a shot in the dark. Just one of those bored winter time thoughts.
